Description

No. 6 High Street is a three-storey building with a three-window facade, dating from the late 18th century. It features a painted brick front and a fluted frieze at the eaves level. The sash windows, which include glazing bars, are adorned with stepped voussoir lintels. A large shop front obscures most of the ground floor. This building, along with Nos. 6 to 10 (even), 10A and 10B, and Nos. 12 to 18 (even), as well as the Friends' Meeting House, forms a group of significant structures.
