Description
Two cottages stand in a row on the High Street, dating to approximately 1700. They are built of rubble stone and have a tiled roof with an axial brick stack. The cottages feature a two-storey, four-window arrangement. A planked door, topped with a gabled canopy, is centrally positioned. Number 84 has a three-light casement window and a two-light casement to the left side. Number 86 features a three-light casement window, originally a mullioned casement, and a single casement on the right side. The first floor has three two-light casement windows and one single casement. The rear of the cottages and their interiors were inaccessible during a survey carried out in May 1986.
