Description
The war memorial, constructed in 1920, is made of Doulting stone and stands approximately 3.5 meters high. It features a base of two steps leading up to a square plinth with a chamfered top. The shaft tapers and has moulding towards the top, which is topped by a small wheel cross. On the south face of the plinth, there is a bronze plaque with the inscription in relief: "TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN MEMORY OF THE MEN OF THIS VILLAGE WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 - 1918." Below this inscription, the names of the fifteen men who died are also inscribed.
