Description

This is an early 19th century farmhouse, now a detached house. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone with a hipped tiled roof and stone stacks. The north entrance front has two storeys and three windows. A central four-panelled door is flanked by twelve-pane sash windows, with three more sashes on the first floor. The left-hand return front, facing the road, features two sashes to both the ground and first floors. The rear garden front includes twelve-pane sashes and a 20th century conservatory with French windows, alongside three sashes to the first floor. A rear service range has a hipped roof and features two-light and three-light casement windows.

The interior has undergone some alterations but retains original features like four-panelled doors, a grey marble fireplace, window shutters, and a staircase with stick balusters. The building was originally constructed as a farmhouse for the Longleat Estate.
