Description
This milestone, located about 200 meters south of the junction with the lane to Reybridge, dates from the early 19th century. It features an attached cast-iron front with a triangular shape and lunettes on each side. The north side reads 'Chippn 4', while the south side states 'Malmsb 14'. The top is flat and gabled, with a lunette inscribed 'Devizes 6'. The foot of the milestone is inscribed with 'Burt Devizes'.
