Description
This is an early 19th-century milestone located on the south side of the road, approximately 85 meters west of the lane leading to Poulshot. The milestone features a cast-iron front in a triangular shape. It is marked with 'Burt Devizes' on the foot, 'Bath' on the left side, 'Devizes' on the right side, and has a flat gabled top inscribed with 'London'.
