Description
Wattle Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century, originally timber-framed and later extended in the 19th century with painted brick. It features a slate roof and end stacks. The building is two storeys high and has a three-window range, with pairs of casement windows above and a triple casement window, along with a door set in a gabled porch and a four-light casement window on the ground floor. The front has square framing with angle braces to the centre and right, extending up to the first-floor sill level, with thinner framing above. The left side of the cottage is finished in painted brick. An additional structure to the left is made of rubble stone and painted brick, also with a slate roof and a pair of casement windows at the front.
