Description
No. 60 The Green is a 17th-century house that features a timber-framed structure, which has been extended with painted brick in the 19th century and red brick in the 20th century. The roof is covered with Bridgwater tiles and is half-hipped on the west side, with end wall stacks. The house is 1½ storeys high. The south front has painted brick on the left side, with a 20th-century flat dormer above a large triple casement window with a cambered head. The first floor on the right is tile-hung above the timber frame. There is an eaves-breaking gabled dormer over the ground floor door, which is paired with casements set in a 20th-century stone and tile verandah. The east end wall is painted brick with casements, while the rear wall shows exposed square framing. There is a 20th-century extension on the north-east side of the house.
