Description

Pilgrim Cottage is a detached cottage dating from the 17th century. It is built of dressed limestone and features a thatched roof with gable end brick stacks. The entrance is located in the gable end. The cottage is two storeys high and has two windows. The road-facing front includes two 20th-century casements and one 2-light recessed chamfered casement on the ground floor, along with two 3-light recessed chamfered mullioned casements on the first floor. The right side has a half-glazed 20th-century door set in a thatched porch, with a 20th-century casement above it. The left side features a blocked pointed doorway to the left and a 20th-century casement on the first floor. The rear of the cottage has 2-light casements and a glazed door. The interior was not accessible during the survey conducted in October 1985.
