Description

87 King's Lane is a detached cottage dating from the 17th century. It is built of uncoursed dressed limestone and features a thatched roof with gable end brick stacks. The cottage is one storey and has an attic, with two windows on the front. A central glazed door is set in a gabled porch, flanked by two-light casement windows. There are two eyebrow dormers, each with two-light casements. To the right, there is an attached weatherboarded outhouse with a hipped roof. The left side of the cottage is windowless. At the rear, there are two one-light casements and one two-light casement in the attic. The interior has not been inspected.
