Description

Home Cottage is a pair of cottages that have been combined into one house, dating from the early 18th century. The building is constructed of dressed limestone, with a thatched roof on the left part and a tiled roof on the right, featuring brick stacks. It is two stories high and has four windows with casements. There is a 20th-century door on the right, accompanied by a 2-light casement to the right, three 3-light casements, and a blocked doorway on the left. The first floor includes three 2-light leaded casements and one 20th-century two-light casement. The right side has a 20th-century bull's-eye window on the first floor. Attached to the left is a single-storey outhouse with a hipped tiled roof. The rear and interior were not accessible during the survey in November 1985.
