Description

Yew Tree Cottage is a pair of cottages that have been combined into one dwelling, dating from the late 18th century. The building is constructed of dressed limestone and features a half-hipped thatched roof with an axial brick stack. It is a single-storey structure with an attic and has two windows on the front facade. To the left, there is a planked door with a flat wooden hood supported by brackets, while to the right are two 3-light casements and a blocked doorway. The attic includes two raking eyebrow dormers, each with 2-light casements. Both the left and right sides of the building have a single casement window in the attic. At the rear, there are 20th-century casements and one dormer with a 2-light casement. The interior has not been inspected. This cottage is contemporary with No 127 nearby.
