Description
No. 127 is a pair of cottages that have been combined into one dwelling, dating from the late 18th century. The building is constructed from dressed limestone and features a half-hipped thatched roof with axial brick stacks. It is a single-storey and attic structure with two windows on the front. There is a planked door to the left, flanked by two 3-light casements and a blocked doorway to the right that once held a 2-light casement. The attic includes two raking eyebrow dormers, each with 2-light casements. The right side of the building has a 2-light steel casement in the attic, while the left side has a single casement. At the rear, there are steel casements and one dormer in the attic. The interior has not been inspected. This building is contemporary with Yew Tree Cottage.
