Manor School Bungalow

Manor School Bungalow is a village school that has been converted into a detached cottage. It dates from the late 19th century, with some 20th-century extensions. The building is constructed from rubble stone and features an ornamental tiled roof with ridge tiles. It is a single-storey structure with two windows.

At the center, there is a gabled porch with an elliptical-arched opening and an inner planked door that has ornamental hinges. A tablet on the porch gable reads "TEFFONT MANOR SCHOOL." On either side of the porch, there are tall four-light mullioned windows with elliptical-arched lights. The building has wavy barge-boards.

The left side of the bungalow has a 20th-century glazed door and a casement window, while the right side features a four-light mullioned window with arched lights. There are also 20th-century rear extensions made of rubble stone, one with a pitched roof and another with a flat roof. The interior has been divided to create living accommodation. The school was provided by Teffont Manor, likely funded by the de Salis family, who also endowed the almshouses.
