Description

The barn at Home Farm is a 17th-century structure. It features a rubble stone plinth with weatherboarding on a timber frame and a hipped thatched roof. The barn has four bays plus hips, with the gable end facing the road. On the north side, there are two pairs of planked doors, while the south side has double doors and a planked door to the left. The roof trusses have been partly reconstructed and include tie-beams with tension bracing to jowled main posts, raking struts to principals, and collars.
