Description
The stables and carriage house at Howards House Hotel date from the 17th century and early 19th century. They are constructed of dressed limestone and feature a double-roman tiled roof. The two-storey carriage house on the right has two segmental-arched carriage doorways with double planked doors, and the first floor includes two 2-light casements. To the left, there are single-storey stables with two planked stable doors and three 2-light casements; the loft has a central planked door and a 2-light casement to the left. On the right side of the carriage house, there is a 19th-century single-storey stable with a Welsh slate roof, which includes a planked door and both 2-light and 1-light casements. The interior has not been inspected.
