Farm cottage, now school boarding house. Early C18, extended late C19. Random rubble stone, stone slate roof with gable end stone stacks with moulded cappings. Two-storey and attic, 5-window. Central planked door in trellised porch, 3-light and 2-light chamfered mullioned casements to left and two 3-light mullioned casements to right. First floor has five 2-light mullioned casements; end bays are C19 additions. Roof has four hipped attic dormers with 2-light casements. Right return has C19 casement in arched stone surround. Rear gabled stair turret to centre, C19 outshuts either side. Interior has winding stairs to attic, chamfered beams, 4-panelled and planked doors. Attached to rear facing road is gateway made up of reused C18 mouldings from architraves or entablatures, possibly from the C18 house pulled down and replaced by the present Stonar School 1770s.
