Description

Nos 105 and 106 on Church Street are two semi-detached houses dating from the early 18th century. They are constructed of rubble stone, with No 105 featuring a concrete tile roof and No 106 having a double Roman tile roof, both with coped verges and stone stacks.

No 105 is two stories tall with five windows, a central 19th-century porch, and two-light recessed cyma-mullioned casements on either side. It has a continuous string course and five two-light mullioned casements, with the center one being blind. The left side has a mullioned casement next to an external stack, and there is a rear lean-to extension.

No 106 is also two stories but has two windows and a projecting cartshed on the left. It features a planked door within an ovolo-moulded surround and a two-light recessed mullioned casement to the right. The first floor has two two-light mullioned casements at different levels, and there is a right return and rear wing with 19th-century mullioned casements.

Inside No 105, there are deep chamfered beams, which may be reused, while No 106 has chamfered beams and planked doors.
