Description

SP 1037 BROADWAY CP HIGH STREET (north side) 9/62 Nos 148 and 150 GV II Two houses, formerly house and farm building. Probably early C18, altered early C20. Limestone rubble with stone slate roof. Two storeys. Windows are rebated and chamfered with mullions. No 150, at the right, of two bays. On the ground floor are canted bay windows with two lights to the front and one light to each side. The first floor windows are of three lights. No 148, at the left, is probably a conversion of a farm building. It is of two bays and has a 4-light window with hood on the ground floor. The first floor windows are of three bays. Door, in right-hand bay, recessed within segmental archway. Copings and chimneys on gables and between houses.
