Description
Nos 148 and 150 on High Street are two houses that were likely built in the early 18th century and altered in the early 20th century. They are constructed from limestone rubble and topped with a stone slate roof, standing two storeys tall. The windows are rebated and chamfered, featuring mullions.
No 150, located on the right, has two bays. Its ground floor includes canted bay windows with two lights facing the front and one light on each side. The first floor has windows with three lights. No 148, on the left, is likely a conversion from a farm building and also has two bays. It features a four-light window with a hood on the ground floor and three-light windows on the first floor. The door is set in the right-hand bay and is recessed within a segmental archway. Both houses have copings and chimneys on the gables and between them.
