Description
Nos 139, 141, and 141A on High Street are three houses, likely built in the late 18th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. They are constructed from squared limestone rubble and topped with a stone slate roof. The buildings are two storeys high. No 141 has two bays, with windows featuring plain reveals and timber lintels, except for the left-hand ground floor window, which is a timber canted bay window set on a stone base. A slated canopy covers the doorway to the right, which also has plain reveals. There are end chimneys, with the left-hand chimney positioned forward of the ridge. No 141A, on the left, projects forward and consists of one bay, with windows that have plain reveals and a chimney on the right. No 139, on the right, is taller and also comprises one bay, featuring windows with plain reveals and a central chimney.
