Description
The Malt House is a malt house that has been converted into two houses, likely built in the mid-18th century and altered around 1900. It is constructed of squared limestone and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and five bays. The windows are rebated and chamfered with mullions. On the ground floor, the windows are three-light with hoods, while the left-hand first floor window is similar, and the others are two-light. The two right-hand first floor windows are set under gables. There are doors located in the second and fourth bays; the right-hand door has a chamfered surround, while the left-hand door features a moulded surround with a Tudor arch and carved spandrels. The gables are coped, and there are chimneys on the gables and to the right of the second bay.
