Description

This is a row of three houses on High Street in Broadway, built in the early 18th century. The houses are constructed of limestone rubble with a stone slate roof. They are one storey high, with an attic space.

The front of the houses features four canted bay windows on the ground floor, each with timber casement windows set on stone bases. To the right is a single timber casement window with plain reveals. Five attic dormers break the roofline. A blocked doorway is visible on the left-hand side. A door is located between the first and second windows and has a chamfered surround. A stone slated canopy above the third window extends over the doorway to its left, which has a quoined surround. Another canopy connects the two right-hand windows. Paired doorways are positioned between the windows, each with plain reveals. Chimneys are situated in line with the first doorway and between the third and fourth windows.

The west gable wall features a two-light mullioned window on the ground floor, with rebated and chamfered details. Above this window is an exposed roof truss, incorporating two pairs of raking struts, a central strut connecting the tie-beam and collar, and V-struts above.
