Description

158 High Street is a mid-19th century house built from limestone ashlar and topped with a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys plus an attic and features three bays. It includes a storey band and windows that are mostly sashed with glazing bars, except for the outer windows on the ground floor, which are tripartite and sashed without glazing bars. A central gable, which lights the attic, has a sashed window with glazing bars. The eaves are supported by a corbel table, and the gables are coped, each featuring chimneys with cornices.
