Description
East House is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the early 20th century. It is constructed of squared limestone and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and an attic. The windows are rebated and chamfered, with mullions. The south front displays two gables, which may have been built at different times.
On the left side, there are 3-light windows on both the ground and first floors, along with a 2-light attic window. A stone forming the left-hand jamb of the ground floor window is inscribed with "T C (?) 1755". To the right of this window, there is a blocked opening. The right-hand bay has four-light windows on the ground floor, three on the first floor, and two in the attic. Between the main gabled bays, there is a 2-light window on the first floor. The doorway on the left has a chamfered surround and a canted head. There are chimneys located towards the rear of the house.
