Description

No. 153 on High Street is a house built in 1718. It is constructed from squared limestone and has a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and features three bays. On the ground floor, there are two-light rebated and chamfered mullioned windows, each with hoods above them. The door, located between the first and second bays, has a cyma-moulded surround. Above the door, there is a plaque inscribed with "JWJ 1718". The house has coped gables, and the chimneys on the gables are adorned with moulded tabling and cornices.
