Description
The Manor House is a house built around 1830, constructed from ashlar limestone and topped with a slate roof. It has two storeys and a 'T'-shaped plan, featuring a front block with three wide bays. The windows are set in slightly recessed panels that extend full height, with a wide plat band running across. A central half-glazed door is located within a portico supported by square piers, accessed by five steps. The ground floor has eight-pane tripartite sash windows, while the upper floor features six-pane sash windows. The eaves are wide and supported by timber brackets. At each end of the house, there are canted two-storey bays. The rear block consists of four bays, also two storeys high, made of smaller ashlar with small-paned casement windows. This block is further extended at the back by two lower two-storey bays.
