Description

Kate Gray's Cottage is an 18th-century house constructed from sarsen stone with limestone quoins and a thatched roof. The building is two storeys high and features three bays, with a central stair hall that leads to flanking reception rooms and rear service areas beneath an extension of the roof. The central entrance has a six-panelled door topped with a pediment supported by brackets. The windows are three-light with radial stone voussoirs, and the center window is raised as a keystone. There are gable stacks, and a 20th-century single-storey extension is located on the left side of the cottage.
