Description

The House on the Green is a late 18th-century house constructed from limestone ashlar and topped with a stone slate roof. It stands two storeys high with an attic and features three bays, along with a storey band. The windows, which are sashed and include glazing bars, have keyed lintels. There are two dormers on the roof. The central doorway is adorned with an edge roll moulding, a transom light, and a timber hood. The gables are coped and include chimneys. To the right of the house, there is a former farm building that has a 20th-century window with glazing bars set within a blocked doorway. Adjacent to this is a bowed window, and on the first floor, there is a pair of sashed windows with glazing bars.
