Description

No. 4 Church Street is a house dating from the 17th and early 18th centuries. It features squared limestone and timber-framing with a thatched roof. The left-hand bay is made of stone and has two storeys. The windows consist of two lights with chamfered flush mullions. The door, located to the right, has plain reveals. The right side of the house is framed with two rows of square panels set on a stone plinth, supported by two straight braces to the wall-plate. This section is one storey with an attic and includes two casement windows. The attic is illuminated by an eyebrow dormer, and the right-hand gable wall is constructed of stone, featuring gable chimneys.
