Description
Nos. 13 and 15 on Hellifield Road are a pair of mid 18th century houses. They are constructed from coursed sandstone rubble and feature a stone slate roof. The buildings are two storeys high.
The original windows have hollow chamfered surrounds and square mullions. No. 15, located on the right, has two bays. The left bay contains 4-light windows, while the right bay has a 3-light window on the ground floor and a sashed window with glazing bars and plain reveals on the first floor. The door, positioned between the bays, is framed with an architrave.
No. 13, on the left, features a 3-light window on the ground floor and a modern window with plain reveals on the first floor. The door on this side is located to the right and also has an architrave. Both houses have a chimney on each gable and one situated between them.
