Description
The structure is a wall, steps, and gatepiers located south of the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, likely built in the 19th century. The wall is made of squared watershot rubble, primarily sandstone, and features triangular coping. It extends west for 30 meters from the stone steps at its east end and then returns north for 10 meters. The return wall includes two gatepiers, with the southern one dated '1706'. These gatepiers are square in section and have moulded cornices, shaped finials, and balls on top. They are currently connected by an iron lamp support, although the structure has been affected by poor pointing.
