Description
Goss House is a cottage located at the end of a row on Church Street in Atworth, dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of painted rubble stone and features a Welsh slate roof with a stone stack on the right side. The building is two stories tall with an attic and has two windows on the front facade.
The entrance is a four-panelled door situated to the left of center, which is sheltered by a lean-to porch. To the left of the door, there is a two-light ovolo-mullioned casement window, and to the right, a three-light ovolo-mullioned casement window, both of which have hoodmoulds above them. On the first floor, there are also two-light and three-light ovolo-mullioned casements, each with hoodmoulds.
The left side of the building features a three-light beaded mullioned casement window on the ground floor, which has a dripstone above it, and a two-light ovolo-mullioned casement window with a hoodmould on the first and attic floors.
