Description

This is a cowshed dating from the 17th century, located to the north side of Greystones in Teffont Evias. The structure is built of rubble stone and has a corrugated iron roof. It is a single-storey building with a loft. The central entrance features a planked stable door with strap hinges, and there are chamfered loopholes on either side. On the left side, there is a 2-light ovolo-mullioned window. Inside, the cowshed has a chamfered beam supporting the upper floor and a three-bay roof with collars.
