Description
This is an anti-tank pillbox, built around 1940, designed by the War Office as a Type FW3/28. The structure is rectangular and made of concrete, featuring permanent Phorpres hollow brick shuttering. It is part of the Southern Command's GHQ Line Blue, which was established for the defense of the United Kingdom. The pillbox is located approximately 50 meters northwest of Crofton Pumping Station.
