Description
Corner Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located in Great Bedwyn, Crofton. It features a timber frame with brick elements and a thatched roof. The building is single-storey with an attic and consists of three bays plus a half bay that contains a stack, with the gable facing the road. The framing has three panels high with corner braces, although some braces have been replaced with brick. There is a boarded door opposite the stack, which provides a lobby entry. The ground floor has two and three-light timber casement windows with segmental heads. The thatch extends over two dormers, and there is a four-flue stack. The thatch is half hipped on the left side.
