Description

The grotto in the grounds of Copper Beeches, located at 82 Victoria Road, dates from the mid-19th century and was formerly associated with Rodwell Hall. It features three arches made of rough vermiculated stone, with occasional dressed stone accents. The structure has rusticated piers and rough niches situated between the arches. At the rear, it is constructed of stone and has three slopes of a pantiled roof. The grotto once supported a water butt for a fountain.
