Description
Rodwell Lodge is a mid-19th century Gothic lodge designed in an 'L' plan. It is constructed from coursed and dressed masonry and features pointed Roman tiles with a crested ridge and gable finials. The wall extends to the north, incorporating a pointed entrance that displays a coat of arms with a monogram and the motto "Semper Idem."
On the first floor, there are two pairs of two-light windows with foiled lancets and labels, while the ground floor has plain mullion windows. The building is supported by three wall buttresses, with the end buttresses featuring gabled pinnacles and the center buttress topped by an octagonal chimney stack with pointed capping. The north gable includes a pointed window with foiled lancets and a foiled oculus, framed by pinnacles and capped buttresses. The rear section of the lodge is crenellated.
