Description

A 193 NZ 28 SE NZ 27158096 (South side) Bebside , Blyth 1/13 Grotto, 100 metres south of Bebside North Farm II Grotto, probably C18. Rustic masonry of large un-dressed blocks, partly Magnesian limestone; squared stonework at rear of recesses. Length of thick wall with 3 recesses, the centre taller and with a roughly-pointed head.

Originally a garden feature associated with Bebside Old Hall, demolished in mid-C19.
