Description

The Cross is likely an 18th-century market cross located in Bedlington Market Place. It is constructed of squared stone, featuring a square base with a chamfered plinth and a string course. A tapering shaft rises from the base, surmounted by a pyramidal top which is set diagonally at the centre of the square platform. Steps are located on the east side. The overall height of the cross is approximately 4 metres.
