Description
Windmill Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with a later 19th-century rear wing. It is constructed of rubble with roughly-shaped quoins and lintels, while the rear wing features snecked stone. The roof is made of Welsh slate and has been rebuilt with brick stacks. The building has two storeys and three bays, which are slightly irregular in arrangement.
The entrance is left of centre and features a renewed door with an overlight above it. The windows are 12-pane sash windows set in tall, narrow openings with slightly projecting sills. The gables are coped, and there are stacks at the ends of the building. The right side of the house shows a small blocked window in the attic, and the rear wing has a boarded door along with 12-pane sash windows.
