Description
Harnham Lodge is an early 19th-century building that stands two storeys tall and is faced with stucco. It features a thatched roof with flat eaves. The east garden front is symmetrical and has three windows with flush framed sashes that retain their glazing bars. The window on the right side of the ground floor has been altered to a door with a glazed porch and a later rectangular bay that projects out. There are later additions on the north front. On the west side, facing the road, there is a single-storey L-shaped wing that is also thatched. This wing has a French window on the west side with a large diamond glazing pattern, as well as a full-length sash window that retains its glazing bars and has Venetian shutters. The building has a picturesque appearance.
