Description

Colway House is an early 19th-century building with later additions, incorporating an earlier core. It is a two-story structure with a hipped thatched roof and a colourwashed front. The south-east facing front, which looks onto the garden, has four window bays. The upper floor features two-light casement windows, while the ground floor has French casements with a rectilinear tracery pattern. A glass verandah is situated in front of the ground-floor windows. A lower wing was added to the left-hand end of the building. The north-east facing front has three window bays. Stair and doorcases inside the building are in a contemporary style.
