Description
Haye House is an early 19th-century building, with a date of 1802 noted under the slate roof. It has a two-storey front with three window bays and features a slate roof, cornice, and parapet. The front is finished in stucco, and there is an iron balcony on the first floor supported by slender iron columns at ground level. The windows have mahogany tracery with an interesting design. On the left side, there are casement windows with pointed heads and original catches. The rear of the house is clad in roughcast and features a bow with two windows on both floors at the center, along with sash windows that have glazing bars. Haye House, along with the garden walls, the former coach house, and the cottage to the southwest, forms a group.
