Description

This is a detached cottage dating from the 18th century, located next to Hillcroft on the north side of Wilton Road in Barford St Martin. The cottage is rendered and slate-hung, featuring a thatched roof with brick stacks at the gable ends. It is two stories high and has three windows. The central entrance consists of a planked door topped with a flat wooden hood supported by brackets, with a three-light leaded casement window on either side. On the first floor, there are two two-light casement windows and one three-light casement window. The left side of the cottage has a planked door set in a gabled porch, with a wall made of brick and rubble stone. The interior has not been inspected.
