Description
This is a detached cottage dating from the 18th century. It is located on Middle Street, Burton Bradstock. The walls are of rubble stone and the roof is thatched, with a gable on the left-hand side and a half-hip on the right. A brick stack is present at the left-hand gable and in the centre of the ridge. The cottage has two storeys and two windows, which are two-light wooden casements with glazing bars. They have wooden lintels above, with smaller casements in the upper floor. A front door, located on the right-hand gable end, is made of plank and muntin timber and has a studded design, surmounted by a wooden lintel.
