Description

The Old Post Office is a semi-detached cottage dating from the late 18th century. It is built of English bond brick and features a thatched roof with a hip on the left side and a brick chimney stack. The cottage is two storeys high and has two windows. The entrance consists of a planked door set in a gabled porch, with a 3-light segmental-headed casement window to the left and a 2-light steel casement window to the right. On the first floor, there is a single light window and a 3-light casement window. To the left of the main structure, there is a single-storey cob extension built on a brick plinth, also beneath a thatched roof. This extension has a 2-light casement window on the ground floor and an eyebrow dormer with a casement window. The interior has not been inspected.
