Description

This is a 17th-century house, now divided into two dwellings, located on the west side of East Dean Road. The house is timber framed with brick and wattle and daub infilling, and has a thatched roof. It is originally a single storey and attic, comprising three bays, with an original outbuilding at the south end that has been rebuilt as a fourth bay. The timber framing is three panels high, featuring straight corner braces. The east side has doors, including a timber boarded door to number 11 and a door within a glazed lean-to to number 12. The building has paned timber windows. The interior has been altered, and a stack was removed around 1935-6.
