Description

Shadynook Snowdrop Cottage is a pair of cottages that were originally a single house. They are built with a timber frame and have colourwashed brick infill, topped with a thatched roof. The building faces the road and is positioned sideways to the lane, featuring three bays and an outshot on the lane side. The outshot has been added at different times and includes various casement windows, along with three-light eyebrow dormers located in the central and rear bays. The roof is half-hipped and has a ridge stack situated between the central and far bays, with an additional stack on the outshot at the road end bay. The frame is exposed on the opposite side.
