Description

This is a cottage from the 18th century located in West Tytherley, West Dean. It is built of colourwashed brick and features a thatched roof. The cottage is 1½ storeys high and has two bays, with a tiled outshot at the rear. The front of the cottage includes a 4-panel door set within a rustic timber porch in the road end bay, and a 3-light casement window in the far bay. Above, there are two eyebrow dormers, either 2 or 3 lights. The roof is half-hipped and has a stack at the far end.
