Description

The Red Lion Public House is a public house built in the late 17th century, with a late 18th-century addition at the front. It is constructed of brick and features a roof made of slate and old plain tiles. The front range is two stories high and has five bays, with a taller range behind that has a weatherboarded addition to the left.

To the left of the center, there are four-panel double doors with a rectangular fanlight above and a shallow hood supported by timber posts. The right-hand bay contains a narrow glazed door. The other bays on both floors feature 16-pane sash windows, and above the main door, there is a 12-pane sash window. The roof is hipped and has stacks positioned behind the ridge.
